We make sure our products and materials meet the highest standards in the world.

Our goal at Woolroom is to foster healthy indoor environments and promote sustainability. Our certifications provide you with complete transparency into our products and processes that take place in our factories.

Traceable British Wool

Woolroom are proud to offer a traceability programme known as Wool ID® to capture both transparency and traceability in a unique wool assurance scheme which traces the movement of wool from farm gate to shop front. This visibility within the supply chain ensures compliance with safety, sustainability and animal welfare requirements.

British Wool - Shepherds Crook

The British Wool approval confirms a product is made with genuine British wool grown by British sheep farmers so you know you are buying a sustainable, ethical and responsibly sourced product.
To obtain the logo, each product is vetted through the entire supply chain to ensure that it meets the criteria for the Shepherd’s Crook mark. We hold the highest certification there is through the Authentic Traceable British Wool certification as well as the Authentic Traceable Organic British Wool for our 100% organic collection of products.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
Woolroom’s farms, production facilities, Organic Washable Bedding and Arinta bed linen collection are all GOTS Certified (License Number: GOTS-11413).

Allergy UK

We are proud to be the only natural sleep solution to hold the Allergy UK Seal of Approval on all our products.
Wool is a game-changer for allergy prone sleepers. It's free from irritants and chemicals, providing a natural remedy for allergy related sleep issues. Due to its moisture management capabilities, wool keeps your bedding dry, creating an inhospitable environment for dust mites, mould, and bacteria. This makes wool a standout choice compared to other bedding alternatives

Free from Harmful VOCs

We worked with the Bio Composites centre at Bangor University to test one of our Wool Mattresses in order to understand if our natural mattresses omit any VOC’s and if they were harmful.
The test findings were that all Woolroom mattresses are made with the same Woolroom cover fabric (ticking) and natural fillings and such all can be classed as “Free from harmful VOC’s”

The symbol is a stylised skein of wool. At Woolroom, we are proud to be Woolmark certified, as it is widely recognised in the textile industry.
